Lightworks anyone?

Hey guys so I'm trying a new editing software called lightworks for windows 32bit newest version 11.5 nd I was wondering if someone can tell me how to cut out unwanted footage. I looked some tutorials online but they are not what I'm looking for. Also when I try to add a new track for my audio the button doesn't come up. Can anyone help me please. Thank you!

Never heard of lightworks. I use fireworks. It's really simple to use, it's like photoshop for rookies. But editing just vegas pro, the hard stuff.

there should be a splitting tool then you can delete by selecting the clip and right click then click 'delete' or 'remove clip' or it might be pressing backspace, try experimenting and get to know the tools and you'll get it
