I have a florescent fixture that I mounted to my ceiling. I use Green screen and require allot of consistent light. It takes up literally no space because it is mounted to my ceiling. I also have florescent lamps behind my monitor that I can angle for better light on my face. Soft boxes work to but if your looking for minimal space I would go with a ceiling fixture.
