Let's Play woes!

Hello everyone! So I'll try and keep this short and simple :) I need advice! On my channel, I have around 7k subs which is GREAT, I am VERY thankful for that number and proud of it as well ^_^ unfortunately almost 95% of these subs come from a handful of Skyrim mod videos that I no longer make... None of them seem to be interested in my Let's Plays. I have no interest in going back to Skyrim and I wish to expand my subs' horizons... Any advice? I mean I feel I edit well, make clean thumbnails, and am entertaining enough!

How do I fix this? I haven't uploaded a Skyrim mod video for about 3 months now, and I've been consistent with my Let's Plays :(

Is anyone else in this situation? If so, let's help each other out! Let's sub up together, and become apart of each other's community!

Very true! And I do! But sometimes seeing that sub number look down at me, makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong when I look back at my Let's Play view counts... I mean the difference between them is HUGE - is that normal?

Same here . I had a huge burst when I started Hitman Absolution ( from 0 to 800 subs in 1 week ) . It was a walkthrough without any commentary . I posted the series on the Hitman official forum and they enjoyed it .
Right after I finished that I started Dishonored . It was doing fine . After that close to nothing for quite some time .
Then I started to make commentaries but in italian . I had a decent following . My italian is "creative" . And when I say "creative" I mean a lot of blasphemy ( we are the only country to have this kind of blapshemy . It might be bacause we have Vatican right under the nose ) . Then I wanted to reach a bigger audience and I started to do commentaries in english .
Since then , nothing special . My only series that are doing ok are Deus Ex Human Revolution and DLCs for Dishonored . But that's just because I played them in a particular way .
Now I have 3 big projects in mind and I hope they'll do ok .
Also I have some collabs in mind but I need to find someone .
There's one thing though . I don't promote my channel at all .
I'm lazy . That is one of the reasons but for the next projects I'm gonna visit some subreddits .
But yeah , a lot of people subbed for one series and they are not interrested in what I do now .
 
When it comes to let's plays people usually don't sub because of the game. They sub based on the personality whos let's playing.
 
The thing with the mods is that people who are playing those games and dont get to do the mods themselves like to see more of them. Im a big fan of watching mods (not a fan of playing them) so I'd sub a mod guy before a LPer if that makes sense?
