Hey everyone, how's it going?
The aim for this thread is to help one another out. We can give each other honest feedback in order to improve our channels. My channel is fairly new and I've only uploaded one video so far (which was uploaded earlier on today). There are a number of things to take into consideration when reviewing someone's channel, below is a bit of a criteria to help you out in case you're struggling to critique someone's work!​

1. How does the channel art look? Is it clearly represented and easy to read?

2. Does the channel use social media links well? (E.g. if they have social media networks have they connected them to their channel).

3. Is the content they upload good quality?

Finally, how could they improve?
It's important to be as detailed as you possibly can, being vague doesn't help any one! If you feel like someone has a specific section they need to improve on then tell them how it is. Some times people just need some good honest criticism to kick them into gear.

My persona is comic book themed.


Your channel banner and icon is perfect for me (having crippling OCD!), it's sleek, and the video you uploaded is smooth and great to watch! Try adding some voiceover if you like, it's always fun to hear peoples reactions to certain situations!

Thanks for the kind words! I have an OCD when it comes to designing things so I'm glad you like it.

After looking into your channel I can tell it's comic book orientated, I like the intro and banner you're currently using as they both go hand in hand with one-another!

You upload high quality videos too, which is what a lot of people want to see.

A tip to probably make your videos more entertaining to watch would be to maybe instead of uploading whole matches of Rocket League for example only upload highlights. Many people lose interest in videos after a certain amount of time (unfortunately) so I think short and sweet always does the trick. Another thing which you might want to look into in the near future is maybe doing a commentary whilst playing / after playing a game. Commentaries are very popular and bring a lot of entertainment to a video, you can also grow quite personal connections to your fan base as they start to listen more to you! On the other hand though I know that some people don't like the idea of getting behind a mic and talking and I can understand that, it's not for every one. At the end of the day, just do what makes you comfortable and what you think will be entertaining and I'm sure you'll do well for yourself!

Ah my apologies! I watched episode #47 which I'm guessing is just an odd one without commentary.

I've visited your channel, love the artwork you're using currently for your banner and also for your intro. Really cool designs, love how they're matching. You've used your social media accounts well, as well which is really important if you want people to keep connected with you! So good job.

I like how in your videos you use a webcam to show your face and also commentate whilst you're playing too. Don't change that! It brings such good quality to videos and people loving having a personal connection with the person they're watching. One thing I would suggest however, is probably coming up with a few designs to fill the black spaces in your videos. Even if the video you're using doesn't fill the screen it doesn't matter, you could use a pokemon background or a design you've made yourself to fill those black spaces! Just a little tip to making your videos look a tad more professional.

Apart from that, keep up the good work and thank you so much for the king words!

Wow thanks for the tips! Yeah normally all that "Blank space" is filled up with chat from my twitch stream but I can work on getting one made especially for Youtube. So thanks for the tip, I didnt even think about it. Do you think you will ever use a webcam for your vids?

Ah I see! I think making a separate one for YouTube might benefit you but that's just me

Yeah definitely! My setup has got to the point where all I need now is decent Webcam. Once I've got that I don't see why not! I think it'd be pretty cool to have that going on in my videos as well as a commentary

I like your channel overall. I really like the minimalistic yet strong art that you have. The audio on the video was a bit low in my opinion. The gameplay was really good though. I'm no pro at this myself so I am speaking from a consumers standpoint and not as someone who has done it all before.
