Legitimate Promoting or Spamming The Great Youtube Debate

i used to do that in a couple of videos of some people with the same content as mine, but i didnt do for long.. but yeah i got a couple of subs that way.. right now my channel is growing without me doing that, i only share my videos on Google+ and Facebook. i dont get much from those two social sites but still i get a couple.. but it was a great start spaming a couple of videos :D.. i remeber that, that was when i had like 500 subs, and i wanted to get more, but right now i think im doing just good without spaming.. but the way you are doing it, it works sometimes, and of course you wil get a couple of subs and some haters for spaming..

Well for me when a video is new I'll make a Post on youtube every couple hours so it re appears on the feed of my subscribers...Keep in mind not everyone is in the same time zone..so making a post everyone once in a while at different times will help quite a bit...atleast in the sense of having your video show up on the feed again.

Facebook/Twitter awesome tools..Especially if you use twitter their are a few hashtag bots that retweet your tweets and those bots have a few followers...like #vancouver #psy those ones will always retweet..but find ones that are relevant to your video! ...i have only done this for our Romanian gentleman video. but using twitter and appropriate hashtags should help out quite a bit!

Facebook wise don't hesitate to ask your friends to share your video! luckily if you stay active on yttalk you will most likely gain alot of friends from this website that will add you on to facebook so asking them to share videos should be no problem at all considering we are all in the same boat..

I really dont see it as spamming if I leave genuine comments and feedback and ask for a review or criticism. I see it as mass advertising. You are getting it to people who you think would enjoy it instead of picking people at random.

This is very useful information that I could definitely use. My only form of advertisement that I've ever used was simply asking my friends to watch and share my videos.
