Leaving Machinima for CDS (COLLECTIVE DIGITAL STUDIO) Yay or Nay?

Hey everyone!

It's my first ever post here and its a biggie!
So I've been with Machinima since 2012 as a Partner and Director with a 75/25 split, I'm also an affiliate with them. Today I received an offer from CDS (COLLECTIVE DIGITAL STUDIO) for me to become a part of their network at a better rate of 80/20% split.

They seem to have more features such as their dashboard amongst a bunch of other cool features that Machinima can't offer. I'm a little bit stuck as to whether or not I should move or not as its very tempting, I am in a 7 year contract with Machinima and have eaten away 2 years already at that. I can request to leave which they will most likely accept.


Thoughts? :)

Because this was Machinima in 2012! That was a goldmine haha. But seriously, the contracts are utter BS and they were 7 years standard there was no lowering it sadly. :(
 
There's no way they'll accept the link request. I know from experience they tend to deny them every week or so. :whistling2:
I don't really know of any network that does accept them or leave them 30 days..

And why would you want to leave them to join a network that is offering just 5% more? Are they offering more things too or are you just going with another network for the fun of it because you could always stay direct with YouTube.

Well Machinima, have never really done anything to help me. Never promoted me, don't offer any tools to help me analyse my channel etc. With Collective they offer a bit more *edited by staff*

Machinima hopefully will let me go, if they don't then I'll stay but its just for the fixed CPM which is the only benefit however I have heard of other networks getting higher from just $3 to $8 which is insane.

No matter how good a network is, I would not sign for 7 years lol. That's far too long.

lol they bulk deny those all the time. The only way you'll probably even get a reply from Machinima is if you make a bad video about them.
