Latenight editing

I used to edit for hours. Now I still do, but break it up in a few days so I don't have to worry about loosing too much sleep. Besides, I like to watch a movie, some anime or play a game every once and a while too!

One time I stayed up until 4 am on a school night editing because I had an orchestra concert and forgot to film my video. I didn't leave between the end of school and our call time, so I was at school from 7:30 am to 9 pm. Then I had to go home and do homework, which took 2 hours. I had a hard time getting the lighting right, so filming took longer than usual. My editor crashed, and by the time i finally got it to work it was 2 am...yeah lets just say my mom was not happy. But i finished my video!!!
Nice! It's always better when there's an epic story behind it! I'm just lazy and don't get around to recording until like... 8 or 10 at night. Plus my videos are almost always 10+ minutes and I try to chop them down to 2-5 minutes. Last night's raw footage was 35 minutes long -_- The pain!

That's me Friday or Saturday nights..... I one time went to bed at 4 to wake up at 8 cause even I realized I needed SOME sleep. I used to even do it during work weeks, but I know better.

My first video took over 100 hours to make, and by the time I was almsot done, I ended up staying up until 4:30, coz I was in so much hype that it was almost finished... until dad came up at 4:30 terrified thinking there was a thief in the house... I probably should have been a bit quieter... but hey, at least I got the video out! :D

That's awesome :D But damn, 100 hours O_O

I wouldn't followed my advice considering in 26 minutes that'll be the 48 hours straight of working, but the more you edit the easier and more often the shortcuts that will not only not hurt your content, but be a part of its evolution will start.
