Like in all honesty, I think everyone has an equal chance at making it big time. A lot of people like to say Gamers have the short end of the stick because there are so many of them, but I don't believe it. Yes there are a lot of us, am I competing with most of them? No, a lot of these "Gamers" upload once on a blue moon and when they do its just not enjoyable, so no, I am not competing with these children

I actually think the gaming section of youtube is over saturated. There are too many doing it already since its easy to record video and stick it up. I do, however, think that as a gaming channel you need to have something unique. Either a twist to your commentary, or something that makes people want to see you playing a game over the next person.
Try different things with different gaming videos and see what attracts more people.

It's defiantly a lot harder to get noticed than it was a few years ago. So yes, I think in the next couple years it's going to get even harder. :|

I agree I think people who have just started now and people who start later in this year are the last botch of people who have a good chance of getting somewhere, I think by next year every single aspect of youtube is going to be over saturated to the point where literally nothing is original.

I disagree with it being "easy" to record and upload gaming videos. I spend freakin all day rendering, editing, making sure it turned out all right, adjusting my mic. Its a struggle to get two videos out every day. And most of these gamers give up after a month anyways, because they don't become the next Pewdiepie.

No no, your good, I wasn't offended or anything I see what your saying, some kid pirates fraps, puts it in movie maker, and uploads. Thats the majority of gamers.
