Laptops without windows 8?!

Take time to be used to it. Like a month or two. It's a good OS. And it's one of the fastest boot I've ever seen in my life.xD

I bought a laptop for £250 a few months ago with windows 7 from PC World (I think there still called that)
Can create HD videos fine, which is the main thing :D

Am I the only one who actually likes the design of Windows 8? I really like the design and the performance is just amazing on my low-tier machine, I guess you just have to get used to it. It is really nice in my opinion.

I absolutely love the design of it. I just hate having to use it on anything other than a touch screen. I like the performance though.

If you don't manage to find a laptop that comes pre-installed with Win7 then you'll either have to purchase your own copy of Win7 or get a Win8 laptop and install a separate program that brings back the start button. I suggest doing the latter which really doesn't take up a lot (a wee wee wee wee bit) of space and then you can pretend that the metro interface doesn't exist and pretend it's Win7 forever.

Of course your main objective should be to find a Win7 laptop which you probably won't find in any retail outlets unless second hand.

I prefer Win7.
Note to OP: You can legally download the disc ISO and burn it to disc to create you own installer. Its the license that you need to own - I may have a spare license laying around. Will check and get back to you if I do ;)
