Keyword/tag Question

Sorry if this has been posted before. I know that using tags/keywords is helpful in getting views for YouTube videos, but does anyone have any tips on what tags to use? There are so many videos already out there with many of the same tags I would use for my own videos, so my videos will be WAY down on the list. Any suggestions or people with the same problem?

I know that a few miss-spelled words are good to put in there just in case. As far as other keywords go, small phrases from the video can help as well. General tags are good, but you want to put something a bit more special on your videos.

One thing I'd recommend from my own experience, is to search for your video and see what other videos pop up. Now, I don't mean to say to place those videos in your tags, but it should hopefully give you an idea as to what other people would see when searching for something similar to yours. Granted, this is all my personal opinion, I'm sure someone a bit more experienced can point you in the right direction.
