Keeping away from discouragment

just fyi to anyone that has replied or will reply, i DO enjoy making videos. its fun. and about the money, i just meant it would be nice to get money from it but if i dont, thats fine.

I'll just keep things simple. Longterm- If you're not entertaining youtube isn't for you. If you get discouraged easily then youtube isn't for you. It took me three months to get 75 subscribers. I'm sounding like a complete ******* right now and I understand that. But I'll put this into perspective. The only way channels see huge growth is by uploading consistently. The days that you're feeling sick, the days you want to hangout with your friends & family instead, the days where you had a long day at work or school. The days where life just sucks. But if it's not growth that you're looking for then upload when you want and play what you want :)

It's still also how you communicate with fans, hell, my channel is on a hiatus right now until I get a new computer but I promised my subscribers that I will post a video if I can! Just to give them something they can enjoy, because nothing makes me feel great than seeing people laugh because they are watching my videos.

I thought this might have been about discouragement from others and people who dont believe in what you are doing, I am with Crown on this one you really want to be content at the very least in making your videos, if you dont feel like you want to at all then I wouldnt bother.

Enjoy making videos and if you really do care about the numbers, keep someone who you want to be like and just keep reminding yourself of why you're doing this. :)

Being a content creator for YouTube you have to love what you're doing. If you don't you will get burnt out easily AND your audience can tell. You need to have some kind of passion behind what you're doing, find the passion and it will help you.

Like others have said you need to enjoy creating your videos first and foremost. If you really enjoy what you're doing then it'll come through in the video and it won't matter if you're not that great at a game - honestly I think it could be really funny depending on how you handle it. Just use some video editing if you get stuck somewhere in a game for a while - you can cut a lot of it out. No big deal.

I think it would be sort of funny to play up that you aren't great at gaming but love it anyway. Say you got stuck somewhere you could show yourself stuck for a bit (or dying a bunch of times). You could then cut to yourself getting past it and put a caption on the screen that said '5 hours later...' or something like that.

I do subscribe to a few gaming channels and not everyone is amazing at playing them but they make the videos fun regardless. It almost gives the feeling of sitting around and playing a game with your buddy.

You sound be bursting with ideas, enthusiasm, and wanting to share that awesomeness with the world. Otherwise the likelihood of success is small. Find your passion in something!
