Keemstar says small YouTubers should quit?

All he is doing is trying to attention and stir up some conversational subjects. It’s what he does, when there is no drama he makes it himself. Just ignore him, don’t waste your breath and effort on this fella. It’s just to grind everyone gears and pee them off. Like @Andie_the_Lab said the TMZ of YT nothing more and nothing less.

You should never quit something because it's a little hard. The saying goes when the going get's tough, the tough get's going, not, when the going get's tough, runaway! No! People do this for fun if you want to make this your main job then good luck!

Yes it is harder now. But that's life. Any job you go for there will be competition, it's being consistent and showing everyone what your made of that get's you noticed!

I didn't even get that. Honestly, he is part of the reason why YouTube has changed. The changes are for the better however. Yes, it sucks if your channel gets swallowed up and becomes demonetized. But, if that stops you from attempting it you are not supposed to be on YouTube to begin with. You need to love creating content, if you do it for the money... Well... Keem has a point. 99.9% chance you are not going to make it. I know I won't, hitting 5K subs after 5 active years means 100K not in my lifetime. But I have fun, love to create and take my time to do so.

I really hope it stops some people from posting. I know for a fact it instantly killed off all the re-upload channels. Right now there are too many people out there that just flood YouTube with crap content just to get noticed. Now that they aren't making a dime? I think those people will simply go away, leaving the playing field for the people that are serious about the craft. Hobby level or otherwise.

I gotta be honest, Keemstar can go f*ck himself with this statement and in general!
You may think I don't have a high opinion of this person and you're right!
He's a toxic human being and a leech who only profits from other peoples misery and the so called "Youtube Drama".
For me he represents the bad, toxic side of YouTube that is only fueled by the sensationalism of people.

So I don't give a damn about his opinion and his outrageous try to discourage small dedicated channels!

Ok my rant is over now :3

It sounds like a clickbait title to get people to start talking about him. Which is pretty much par for the course.
He's definitely playing the game, but I'm sure he's not the only one to say something like this and it's kind of important to talk about as creators/entertainers. People who think they know better trying to convince you to give up your dreams because it isn't "conventional". I get it ALL THE TIME. Not about YouTube, but about Performing Arts. I went to college for it- I'm not stupid I know it's hard and people just assume I don't know what I was getting myself into.
