Just Joined Freedom Network... What do I do now? [Gaming Channel]

Can you give me an idea what that means to you? What is the dollar amount that they are getting (that 40%).
Im sorry im not sure what you mean, but i just mean obviously joining a network you dont receive 100% of your earnings, at freedom you will get 60%, you are giving up a possible 40% up (Adsense) to join this network, now what can they do to make up for that 40%.

@ZookeGames Let's say that you average 10,000 views a month with $2 RPM and your account is making $20 a month. You get $12, the network gets $8.

You're saying that the network should be paying somebody to watch and review some of your videos? $8 a month?

Even worse, let's just take your last 25 videos that go back to March 3, 2014.
http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/zookegames/videos

The sum total of those are 5,006 views. That's 5 1/2 months so only 1,000 views a month on your newest uploads. Using the above math, that's $2 a month. $1.20 for you, .80 cents for the network.

How can they afford to pay somebody to watch your 15 to 30 minute videos?

Yes, smaller channels join networks with the hopes that the networks will help their channel grow. The reality is that it isn't worth their time. That's why most everybody on this forum will tell you that it is up to you to grow your channel.

I'm not trying to be mean spirited. I'm trying to be 'matter of fact'. Of course, there are those affiliated with networks on this forum who will say that they will help you. It is up to you to filter the truth.

You are correct, everything you said there is true, its not worth their time, im not generally saying watch all of their videos, im not even saying watch one, but i dont mean pay people to watch your videos, im just saying maybe they could spend 15minutes of their day to watch your content and give feedback so you can work on that content. Or atleast do so when requested. But ofcourse in reality they wont help their channel grow, i know it doesnt work like that. Ofcourse its up to you to grow and thats the harsh truth of the matter. But i just generally mean maybe someone apart of the network can give you some advice on your videos just to give you another person perspective so you can make the changes according to what they say if you agree that is.

A little bit off topic but I thought this was interesting. PewDiePie's channel is bigger then the whole Freedom network of over 60,000 channels! This was taken from the about page of both channels. And btw, PewDiePie is the number one most viewed and subscribed channel on YouTube right now.

Freedom:
63,653channels
4,832,112,831views
28,706,313subscribers

PewDiePie:
1 Channel
5,638,616,576views
29,836,885subscribers

Haha, ridiculous. They are trying to earn as much as him by the looks of it. Its a shame that they partner so many channels, it always puts me off when i see a network havin 63k channels

It is really obvious that most of their channels are smaller channels. According to social blade to make it to the top 100 most viewed on Freedom you need 8 million views and to get on the most subscribed you need only 38k subs. Yes those are big numbers, but for 63k members it is quite low. With other networks that have less members those numbers would be much higher. Recently Freedom did a small channel for a channel spotlight for a channel with around 1,000 subscribers and people were complaining in the comments that the channel they spotlighted was too big. By looking at the comments of their videos, most of their members have under 200 subs, and with that low of a number I don't know why they joined a network in the first place. Some of them have made less then five videos and still ask for shout outs and spotlights and expect freedom to get them somewhere.

I agree, for the amount of channels the lack of quality channels is really bad. I run my own network (Its very small, hasnt got 200 partners itself) But the biggest channel is scoutnationHD and he single handedly is just as better than any of their top ones. Its a shame 80% of their channels are tiny but money is money to them

Wow that is pretty impressive. Freedom does a couple big partners. They have some gamer that almost has million subs but doesn't post videos that often and isn't gaining that many subs and views. And they also have Shoenice who has over 400k subs but he only gets 20k views per video. So yes, freedom does a few partners that over 100k subs, but none of them seen to be uploading quality content regularly or growing at good pace.
