Just hit 100,000 views!

It took way longer than I would have hoped for, but I finally hit the 100,000 views milestone.

My previous channels have reached this mark within about 6 months, however my current channel doesn't seem to have such a vast potential audience. I was pretty inconsistent and lacking with content for about a year though, I suppose...

But anyway, I'm glad I have finally hit it and now I just need to get my subscriber numbers up and I'll be happy!
 
Well I started my channel on June 27th 2011, however only in the last 6 months or so have I really been putting an effort into making higher quality videos. It's only now that things seem to be growing at a better rate.

I get on average about 300-400 views per day, however at the moment it is closer to about 700.
 
That is amazing, my channel is over a year old and I don't have 10k so I'd say you're on the right track! Keep up the good work :)
 
Thanks a lot! I checked out your channel and I see that you are doing gaming videos. That is probably the most challenging type of videos to get success from due to the area being very saturated, but your channel looks good so keep it up!

Congrats that is a huge milestone! I remember I thought it would take years to hit that big of a milestone. It took me about 6-8 months to hit 100k views too! Once I hit about 10months to a year my views starting skyrocketing hitting more than 100k-200k views a month! Hopefully your channel is ready to start skyrocketing with views! Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I had an old channel where I did technology reviews and that was up to around 200,000 views in about 6 months, plus 1,500 subscribers, hence why I would have liked to have achieved this goal sooner. However, I don't think my current channel has the same potential growth as that one did so I'm still pretty pleased to have reached this milestone!

On my old channel, I had clicked the 'check all' box to add all of my videos into a playlist, however I accidentally hit the delete button and back then there was no warning, so I lost all of my videos. Extremely annoying considering that my channel was growing very fast and companies like Sony and Motorola were reaching out to me to send me products to review. It was a very profitable channel too which was an added bonus thanks to the hundreds of free review products and adsense. Maybe I'll get back into doing it at some point...
