How did you handle your first sub? Did you go into their channel and say violent but passive aggressive things like "If you Unsub, i'm going to find you", or something to that extent? Or was it just a casual exchange where you were like "pssssh, 1st sub, 1st of million bi-atch" or something to that extent? Let me pick your brain for a moment XD.

If you wish, explain your reaction to your first ever subscriber ever and to another degree, did they stay? Are they active?
 
I don't think either. I just used my other channel to subscribe to myself to boost my self-esteem.

Wait, and don't you already have a few THOUSAND?
 
My first sub was my younger sister, and she watches all my uploads when they go up and tells all her friend group to go watch them :D So yes she is active, she helps get a good portion of my views :D

I don't think I realized I had a sub for a few years. I think before I went active again I maybe had 10 subs over a span of 4 years. I'm now up to a whopping 550 (for the 5th time). Once I hit 500 my reaction was like "well let's see how many times I reach 500". I think I went to 510 after that, but 550 is a hurdle.[DOUBLEPOST=1423618807,1423618741][/DOUBLEPOST]

On a positive note, one of my subs that has a Ferrari and does awesome mountain biking/dog chasing him on the bike videos and he responded to my latest video saying it was the video that finalized his decision to get a GoPro Hero 4 Black...
 
I was all "oh hey mom, how goes?" and that was it.

Twas not very exciting. I'm pretty sure I did threaten her though. "If you unsub you're not getting a birthday card from me".
 
My first four subs were people I know pretty well, although I didn't know one of them had subbed until YouTube started showing all subs (even those who think have hidden the people they sub to). BUT my fifth sub was @greatestcookie--a frequent poster here, a really nice, cool, supportive guy, and a pretty awesome YouTuber. So that's the one that started me getting really pumped about YouTube growth. Thanks, Armin!
