I like posting these (hopefully it's not annoying anyone) because I like to know that I can show people that they all have an equal chance!Because we really all do!And people tend to call YouTube unfair and yaddy, yaddy, yaaaaa. But truth be told YouTube aren't being unfair. Now don't hate me yet, hear me out!
They give you the tools. The tools to upload your work, the tools to influence people to watch your videos and the tools to get you money. It comes down to the content creator themselves to take advantage of this. I know I am in no way a large YouTuber. But I like to think in these last few weeks that I have understood YouTube much more then I use to. I would love to make this my full time job and I am lucky enough to have a Summer ahead of me now where I will take my chance in making a video every day and you never know, it could work for me. Because I have a chance I just need to grab it in the right way!Some things that could help any of you, well lets just say its easier then you think :

- Video editing skills. Sony Vegas or any other video editing software. You will need to learn how to use these. Editing your videos is the way to go nowadays if your a gaming channel like me. It has become so saturated that you need to stand out. You need to put time and effort into your videos. As long as you can see the game your playing, the quality shouldn't matter too much because at the end of the day, they will be viewing the video because you caught their attention. Not really the game(minor percent of their attention
) - If your ever going to spend any sort of money, buy a microphone. A cheap but decent one!Since I am going to be taking this seriously, I am about to order a blue snowball(it's within my budget) and I know I can record and edit games with my current resources. Remember it doesn't matter how hi-def your game looks, if you sound like your talking through a jet engine, the viewer will not want to stick around!
- I hate to say this for the people with low self confidence, but I just told my family and girlfriend about YouTube and what I originally thought was that they would laugh or put me down(due to me having such low self-confidence)but instead they are now completely supportive of me and I am happier because of it.TELL PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU THEY WILL SUPPORT YOU!I'm not shouting just wanted to get that through it's more subs and more likes and more views, the 3 main things a new and small channel needs!
- Be yourself. Be enthusiastic! Your different from the other 7 billion people, your unique in your own way so be yourself!Along with this, major happy attitude really helps!Probably my number 1 tip!
- (This tip is for gaming channels mostly) If your going to do gaming videos, I am sorry to say but COD and Minecraft at this day and age are going to have you on an extreeeeeeeemely slow road to success. Theres too much of it out on YouTube for most new people to get noticed. Have you ever noticed that every single 'tips to getting more views and subs on your gaming channel' videos on YouTube are dudes playing COD?Maybe thats just me
- I have been slow on my uploads over the last year but I am now uploading a lot more and tbh I am getting more views then I anticipated!Good quality content but at the right rate will help you ! You need to know what times are best to upload your kind of content!A Lets player would make sure to have at least one video out every day or every two days if you were serious.
- Tags, Tags, Tags and titles!The video is pointless without these. Good tags to help your video be found in searches and good strong titles to help as well.67% of traffic on my channel in the last month comes from people finding my video searching it thanks to my use of tags and titles(I hope XD). Have a decent thumbnail and don't half a** it!Make it look unique!
- Advertise your videos on the right places at the right times on forums. Don't spam. Try and get the top comments on youtube videos without self-advertising. Share to whatever social networks, just be active just trust me, you will see yourself gaining progress!
