Just a small issue I'm not sure to worry over :S

So I just started my channel and I relised that when "Popular channels on youtube" is enabled nothing is showing and it stated it would allow a form of promotion to your channel but what's werid is other channels are not appearing on it... Is this something to worry about?

Once you post a few more videos, the YouTube algorithm will find channels best suited to compare yours to.

I haven't personally found this feature to be of any help. Does it actually do anything to help your channel if it is small?

When looking at my analytics, I usually don't see any increase in my channel's traffic coming from other channels. I assume because other more known channels are the main source for YouTube when finding relatable channels.

Sometimes it does relate me to other smaller channels so the feature does work to an extent for smaller YouTubers.
