Joining a partner network (Fullscreen, Maker, etc) and monetizing videos

I know when you're with a partner network, new videos are automatically monetized without the normal youtube runaround. If I join a parnter network, can I monetize videos that were previously rejected for monetization?

Everyone knows getting your own videos monetized through youtube can be a total crapshoot, sometimes they're rejected for no logical reason. Problem is, once they're rejected for monetization, it's final. (Unless you delete and re-upload and lose your views, which is why I keep all my stuff private until monetization is approved, in case i have to delete and re-up.) But it's too late on some of my older videos that were rejected... I don't want to lose my views and backlinks.

All, linking to a CMS will reset all your videos to claiming options thus making you able to claim rejected ones.

If I know this I would not have deleted some of my videos that not monetized by Youtube. ohh well charge to experience :crying:

haha no problem :D

Hi Gabriel,

I'm recently partnered with Fullscreen. Every video I upload is getting auto monetized, including the videos for which I don't own the rights.

What if I get a copyright strike because of this? Also, is there any possibility to un- monetize the particular video/s? And un-monetize option is disabled for me.

Please help! Thanks a lot in advance.

To un-monetize a video that's already been claimed before, choose 'Track in all countries' policy. Regarding getting a strike, you'll get a copyright strike regardless of the video being monetized if the copyright holder wants to take it down.
