Jealousy and Youtube

I know the feeling of looking at someone's channel and going: "what do they have that I don't". But the trick is then to try and find the answer, and learn from they channel instead of letting it crawl under your skin and irritate you ;)
 
I try to just keep plugging away. Sure, some channels grow quickly, but they have different content than my channel. For better or for worse what I upload is reflective of me as a person, and the Internet is going to react to that differently than to another YouTuber. Comparing two channels popularity is like comparing two people's popularity: There's not really a point.

At the same time I get the jealousy bug sometimes too. :confused:

That's good, you probably shouldn't start doing YouTube if you don't like it. It should be a hobby that you would do even if nobody watches your videos, not something you do to get famous or popular. Because the rough truth is that it's probably not gonna happen.

I agree, my aim is to reach 100 but I am not looking to become famous out of youtube and I think it shows when people make videos for the fame and not because they have a passion

Glad to see you enjoy it. It would suck a lot if you didn't enjoy it....but then youtube wouldnt be for you if you didn't like making videos

lol true dat. Unless you're lucky as f**k

Honestly though, if you try youtube for fame, it's really gonna suck. You'll be REALLY disappointing most likely
