Thank you for that!

I am hoping I will have multiple choices because if I am not happy with a background I would love to have others to choose from. Of course if I see a background has potential me and the creator can work on it together :D

here is mine without working on it for another couple hours. I like it anyhow :) I will post a drop box link and screeny of it on my "dummy channel" i use a channel to make backgrounds so i can see how they look uploaded :)

I think its very "you" as in it looks homey so its like being in your backyard lol :)

this is 'not tiled' I never select repeat tile but if you do choose horizontal only not any vertical :)

p.s. the "grass" is in both resolutions. I surf at 100% i cant imagine anyone going below 75% lol anyhow lemme know what you think. I tend not to make a lot of stuff for people and what is okay for my eye may not be good for yours..
 
I did not expect something so soon... Holy gasingas!

Firstly, the avatar box image... It´s awesome! It´s cool without looking too business like... I love it!

the way the images are cut is very well done. The "country" me is awesome but the "musician" me, his hand looks like it´s bigger than anything I have ever seen lol... It´s way too big to be realistic but on the other hand it has that "Black Hole Sun" feel to it all... Perhaps have them more centered into the background, just a tad more "in" instead of "sideways in"...

The green fence thing, it´s pretty damn impressive! A very "homey" feel to it for sure and it´s very neutral without screaming at the viewer but I have to ask, what is with the blood like substance dripping down from the top? Don´t get me wrong, I think it´s awesome! But it might send the wrong message to people, sure I LOVE horror movies and the apocalypse themed shows that are out there but, does it send the right message to my "fans"

The "grass" as you put it... Looks very tribal-ish. It´s not bad but it´s something I could do without, I am guessing you just wanted to fill in the empty gap that is there but it´s just a guess.

The concept you did is definitely something on the lines of what I was thinking about! Just needs a tweak or two...or three hehe

I thank you fully for making that, it does look pretty awesome! Even without the tweaks it´s a contender for sure!

haha glad you like it and yes i wanted to match the avatar up . I do a lot of image work I am a 3d modeller and texture artist in "real life" so I have resources for things like this. I struggle with the youtube page layouts because its hard to get them to tile for different resolutions. I can fix a few things up eg change the text colour a bit etc but its nice like that.

If you want better photos for posses you can take a longer shot of your body I had to distort the guitar one a lot so it would work hehe.....the guitar player I had issues with unless i did him completely horizontal or vertical ..

so if you want to replace him just yeah take a longer shot so I dont have to screw around with the image so much to make it fit lol

sorry i read to fast the "blood" is paint I can change it a bit I kinda liked the contrast like that. I can make it look more painlike if you want hehe. Anyhow its hard to know what is in people's heads so let me know what you want fixed. I can't do much more with the photo i need a longer body shot for the guitar dude :)
 
I would have taken much better pictures of myself if I knew people would be putting such effort into the background. I thought people would perhaps just slap the photos onto a blank photoshop page and fiddle around a bit lol... just shows you how little I know about working with such things!

I need to paint my wall either green for chroma keying or completely white bright so my light source actually works as it should, I am still getting used to all this professional equipment I got. I am in no way a professional photographer or film maker so I am learning as I go.

3 more pictures to choose from... one of which is goofy as hell and done purely out of silliness haha

With the cut outs of him, if youre in Photoshop hold shift whilst resizing them so they dont appear distorted, that would make it look better IMO, maybe have him sticking out of the sides of the middle rather than the opposite, it could help for smaller screen resolutions. Nice job overall UL :)
 
haha i reused the old screenies I didnt check the forum before I did this and its distorted because i was using the distort buttons on purpose to drag his trunk down one side of the screen. I prefer the original layout but without new screenshots I used my original um setup. Its not resized I like big and didnt see any indication it was too big lol but I will put this up there to see if you like the design and have one more crack at it later based on your comments as a "final". I removed the 'grass' it was something i liked haha kind of like grass in your backyard. I changed the "paint" a bit and put in a brick foundation lol hard to explain its just a design concept and use the same photos. Anyhow let me know after you take a peak at this one . I dont want to remove too many elements or it will look well stupid.

I also need to redo the avatar after you decide if you actually want this background I will make a final avatar. I wanted to stay away from glizty rockstar type stuff with strong geometric shapes cause it doesn't seem to fit with your videos and personality. I mean I watched a video of you going out with your mother on an afternoon trip to a lighthouse hehe. I almost have a vision of a basement wreck room or backyard bbq on a sunday afternoon lol

Anyhow the previous dowload link is dead i will paste a new one in case you think this is good enough :)

Most definitely an improvement! But what´s up with "guitar me" looking like water color paint? is that the distortion? it looks pretty weird lol But it´s unique for sure!

I like this one for sure, minor cosmetic tweaks are in order for "water color me" haha but other than that I don´t see anything I would not use....

On that note, was anyone else going to have a crack at this? UL here is doing a great job but I want to see different minds doing different things! All options and fields open...
