If they're keen, why not get them involved and 10 minutes in I'm sure you'll have forgotten about the mic - it'll be more natural and you'll catch some golden moments that if you edit right could make for a hilarious video!
I don't do gaming videos and would be nervous as hell commenting, but I like playing games from time to time with one of my mates over skype who is now the other side of the country - that would be the approach I would take to get me over the fear of gaming commenting.
But yeah find something that works for you!
Sadly, none of my friends are into gaming like I am, and they're all really busy like I am too. But I think if I had some friends on the internet to skype with that were into games it might be fun, but I think the format of the gameplay I'm looking to do would be better with just one person? But it's something to think about, thanks~
