What makes it worse for the Jimmy Savile thing for me is that people assumed he was guilty because he looked dodgy. He can't well defend himself - I am on the fence, not sure if he is innocent or guilty, but one thing that I do know is that a lot of the people making claims about him are making some money from this...take that as you will
 
In the UK the legal age to have sex is 16 years old so what if she was literally 1 week away from her birthday. Would he magically not be a paedophile any more? Food for thought. (I don't think what he did was right personally but I don't think it was a huge crime.)

The whole jimmy saville thing is a different kettle of fish, young people who where abused and actually came forth at the time had it all swept under the carpet by police etc he is guilty as f**k and so are a lot of the other MP's and people involved in it

Definitely, I've seen some crazy made up s**t about danisnotonfire, amazingphil and tyler oakley over these past few days. However, Alex Day has admitted to doing the things people that have accused him of (via blog post). So unfortunately, I would be leaning on the side of thinking that those things are true.

Yeah I did see that post and it just made me sad. It feels like an abuse of power and influence really.

And when I was talking about made up stuff I was definitely referring to those 3 mostly (mainly because I really get more exposure to those 3 epecially dan and phil because I ship phan xD )
 
Erm I live in the UK and I am not a pedophile so checkmate. Unless they want to find out I am one by watching my gaming content for 18 year old's lol.

I totally agree that he is guilty, but I do seriously think that there are a certain number of people who were not actually abused, but just making it up to try and get in on the bandwagon of cash. Which takes away from the legitimacy of the claims from those who were actually abused
