Issues with Blue Yeti

Messed around with dial again. Still picking them up on the lowest it can go. I'll pick up a new keyboard sooner or later. Guessing the keys are just loud. Not to mention, its pretty easy to edit out anyway with equalisation and plus when I talk over they are pretty much unnoticeable. Thanks for the help everyone. :)

Lad, my old keyboard and current mouse are louder than Satan's growls. It is quite possible to have the annoying clicks removed.
Tutorials are your friend. You should always search for them before using a solution that requires buying something.
Messing with your recording's EQ iwth Audacity is another thing you can try.

Just a minor note of interest. Cardioid isn't unidirectional. It's a setting that records less and less volume the closer you get to behind the microphone. Cardioid still picks up from directly behind, just not nearly as much as in front.

This makes the audio volume variance less jarring if you happen to move slightly from right in front of the mic.

I know it has the dial. But I've messed around with it so much with little success it just annoys me. I think my keyboard is just too loud.
What kind of keyboard do you have? Some keyboards are just naturally louder than others. If turning the gain down--maybe even all the way down-- doesn't help, you might want to look into that.
Another thing you can do is place your mic closer to your face (like right in your face) and even further away from your keyboard... It usually situates some rather loud mouth noises though.
I have my gain at about a 30 degree angle from the start so it's not even a quarter turn up. You can still hear my controller noises sometimes but it's not too noticeable.

use the Gain dial and get it so the line is pointing at the A of GAIN, I have a mechanical keyboard and you can't here it in my videos.

Hello Guys,

I've read all the messages above, but I have my gain at the lowest possible, and I still can hear my mouse clicks and keyboard (mic is also in cardioid mode). I think this is because of how close I have my mic near my keyboard + mouse. So my question is, how far do I keep my mic from my keyboard and mouse? I have it around 6-7cm away.
