I would like to clarify that I do not YouTube view bot... But I would like to win an argument with a couple friends that YouTube view botting or purchasing views is breaking YouTube terms and conditions...

What are their points? Lay them out and I'll tear them down one by one hahahahaha
 
YouTube "view botting" is against the Terms and Conditions of YouTube, as it states that you are not allowed to automatically generate views.

we can go deeper than that, outside of the fact that your channel can get taken away, there are moral implications, I wanna know how his friends are trying to "defend" this act, this could be fun lol
 
Botting is against TOA.

I mean, YouTube might get mad if your video gets front page and is right above RayWilliamJohnson's or Smosh's .
 
This is purely anecdotal and thus doesn't hold much water, but this guy I was subscribed to was terminated for botting his videos. He first did it back when that epidemic was breaking out early last year (I think March or April), so he got away with it once. However, he tried it again and was terminated. His channel was enz0pr0ducti0ns (all o's are zeros).
