Is this botted ?

I did a broadcast on younow and there where a few dicks on there and then i went back onto my youtube after and one of my videos had gained 1,100 views with only 3thumbs up and 1 thumb down

If it is botted whats the best action i can take ? the analytics havent yet refreshed so i cant see where the views came from yet

Hmmmmmm possibly! Hopefully not. Guess you can't really tell until the view sources come in. If you're partnered you can contact your partner manager...if you're not, then....I'm not sure there's anything you can do? You can turn monetization off on it. I think you can contact Youtube and tell them...I thought I heard that somewhere.

Im not with a network and i never turn monetization on with any of my videos just because i dont see the point right now. How exactly do i contact them ? they just ignore everything and what do i even say to them haha

The video is around 3 and a half minutes long and has 15 hours watched.

If my math is correct then your video goes into 1 hour roughly 20 times, and it goes into 15 hours roughly 300 times so either they've only watched a little bit into the video or it was botted.

Then Anilytics havent updated yet, the 15hours watch time is for 552 views[DOUBLEPOST=1380046658,1380046338][/DOUBLEPOST]Im pretty positive its been botted i just want to know what i should do about it, theres threads telling people how to make it stop but stopping it doesnt set it back to normal, i dont want these botted views on my video i want it rolled back

It would actually be less than that because of the 39 seconds if they watched the whole thing.

You had a share of the video and it got a bunch of views however I would say it was botted because they views wouldn't just go back to normal the next day like it did.

Im not saying your maths is wrong ill show you what im talking about



The 15hour view time is for 552 views, the video has literally gained 1100 views in the last 30 mins. None of the Analytics have updated yet to compensate for all these new views so saying it has 15 hours viewing time for all the views might not be correct because the stats havent had time to update as of yet. If they had i would be able to tell if it was botted just by playback location alone

If it's anything I've discovered - it's that YouTube reacts very slowly to these things. You may need to wait for the dust to settle, then send them an email. I don't think your account will be flagged because you have so many videos in good standing and it's clear that you didn't do this.

I hope it doesnt get flagged, i dont even monetize videos so hopefully that will help a bit
