Is this a decent MCN deal?

So the MCN we have been speaking with is discussion a 2-year contract with us receiving 35% of revenues.

Does anyone have experience with this? Is this decent or not?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Absolutely not! That's the worst deal I have come across! The industry standard right now, at least from what I have seen is a no lock in contract with a revenue share of 70-90%. I have messaged you on YouTube with some suggestions! :)

Thanks Jack! I suspected that might be the case. This is an MCN in China, and I was already warned that I was going to have to be careful with them when it came to money. So I thought I might be getting seriously low balled, which has similarly happened to us when we've negotiated creative properties with India, but didn't know with MCNs, so I wanted to check with others that have done MCN deals before.

Really appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

My general tips for joining a MCN is don't join unless you absolutely need to and make sure that there is a no lock in contract or a very short one.

Most importantly though don't just join one thinking that they will magically make your channel grow, they most likely won't unless you are a big channel.
