is there a subbing limit on YT?

My friend says his account got frozen from subbing to to many people. is this a real thing? how can he get it unfrozen and whats the sub limit on YT


EDIT: okay so he told me he used Subxcess for his YT channel could that be the issue and would it make your account banned or suspended or frozen?

You can sub to around 35-50 people every hour or so. Why would you need to sub to that many people amyway?

Yeah no doubt, im only subbed to 15 channels, gonna be cleaning that up here soon. That is too many subs.

The limit used to be 2000 but if you have many subscribers you are allowed to sub to more.

PS. I do not know Subxcess but sounds like something which can indeed "freeze" your channel.

Subxcess is basically a sub for sub website. You can use it to sub to tons of people at once, and you get "points". You can then redeem those points to get subs, likes, etc. I would never recommend this though, because it is against the ToS and can get your account suspended/terminated. As for the sub limit, I have like 180 subscriptions, so I hope not lol. I should probably unsub to people I no longer watch, but I don't see the point.

There is absolutely nothing you can do. If it was not already suspended or terminated, then you probably never will be. They rarely actually suspend channels for botting/sub4sub. They usually just remove views.

yea but removing the link and prevent any botting happening right? so if its not linked then its not granted permission, he wants to ungrant permission from subxcess on youtube but doesnt know how

Easy. Go to Google while signed in. Click on your avatar thing at the top and hit "account". Next select "security" then go to the "account permissions", and you can unlink various 3rd party websites.
