Is sub for sub even allowed by YouTube?

If Im honest I subbed for subbed about 100 subs at the start of YouTube on an old channel and I can tell you for a FACT that there is no point. If they don't un-sub you after all they hardly actually watch your content. Its an issue I am having on my channel and I haven't even done s4s on this one. Im just stuck at the 1290 mark.
 
I would rather have 10 subs of people who watch my content over 10k subs of people who don't. Subs don't matter, if people did not sub for your content.

I'm locking this because sub4sub is against YouTube's terms, and isn't needed to be further discussed on this site.
