Is Omegle a good way to advertise?

Funnily enough, not only did I coincidentally get two subs within the first 5 minutes, those two people are still on my Skype contacts list, and I talk to them quite frequently xD

So yeah it works, but I never do it all the time.

I did not know this. I was going to make a joke about how it's not good for advertising but it's great for finding love but naw, I might try it. Intereessting....

I thought it wouldn't work aswell. But just make sure to tell them to only sub if you like your content. You don't want any inactive subscribers thats for sure.

I have met some pretty awesome people on Omegle! I've even made some pretty awesome friends.

Anyway, I have gained quite a few subs on Omegle, but I have learned that they are quite inactive.

Haha yeah Omegle is a bit hit or miss. There's a bunch of people only looking for sub4sub - ignore these people!
There's a bunch of people who leave a link then disconnect - ignore these people!
There's a bunch of horny creepy guys - definitely ignore these people!

I hardly use Omegle because personally I've found it brings in more trolls than people who mean well. But when I do, I put 'YouTube' in the interests section, as well as subjects that are relevant to my videos. For example, if I wanted to promote my latest video (a review of Monsters University), then I would put YouTube in the interests, as well as, say "monsters University", "Monsters Inc", or "Pixar".

Usually when you do that, you cut out a large portion of the aforementioned people to ignore and if you have a long enough conversation about the subject, you can casually slip in the old "hey, you should check out my video", and even if they don't sub or like or comment, 99% of the time they'll at least watch it.

Tbh I'm tempted to just walk about screaming "LOOK AT MY CHANNEL, LOOK AT IT!".

I used Omegle for advertising about 5 - 9 months ago and I gained subs. I don't know they still watch my videos or not. Maybe they have forget about it

I wouldn't bother because I couldnt be bothered with the 'sub4sub' asks but if you have time I guess its work a try, or maybe type in a more specific interest like if you make vlogs then use vlogs as the interest?
