Is Nintendo the First Party of the Kirby Franchise?

Heya, I was wondering...since Nintendo can only copyright games that are in their first party, they wouldn't be able to claim Pokemon since they're the second party of that franchise right?

But...what about the little pink puffball? Nearly every game is made by HAL Laboratory, and I'm not sure if they're first or second party to Nintendo. If they are second, Nintendo still owns them, so would they still be able to copyright Kirby games? What I mean by own is that they publish the game and stuff, but...

Basically, what I'm trying to say is: Who owns the full rights to copyright claim a video game with mainly Kirby in it? HAL Laboratory or Nintendo?

According to the Wikipedia, HAL Laboratory is the developer while Nintendo is the publisher. I'm not sure how this works legally, but I THINK Nintendo gets the copyright. Don't take my word for it though.

I think they can do that yes. Hal Laboratory only makes games for Nintendo, but Nintendo owns all properties of Kirby or Star Fox, F-Zero etc

Interesting question, but as said above, Nintendo is the publisher so i think it does have copyright, but i am not sure, it is indeed an interesting question, Nintendo should do a list of games that we couldnt LP, we still know verry little about this copyright stuff XP
As for me i keep uploading my Nintendo Videos, and untill now, no Copyright stuff as appeared XP

They don't want you to stop uploading the videos. It's free advertising. They just want to double dip and take your earnings too.
