Is "Newtubers" or reddit in general good or bad? I'm scared.

Use reddit and quora too ....[DOUBLEPOST=1519168331,1519168044][/DOUBLEPOST]

speaking of facebook , i am thinking of getting this tool to reach out the specific niches and post my channel and videos ...
dominatorhousecom / facedominator/ ...not sure if anyone has any other ideas ??

Appreciate your advice
Quora? How do you use that for YouTube?
Also, I’m not sure about that tool you are talking about. Definitely start another thread, you’ll probably get luckier that way! :)

Reddit can be good, just make sure to read the rules thoroughly and keep to them! Watch and give constructive feedback to others if you want others to review and watch your videos - this can be quite time consuming though, but can be worthwhile if you have the time!

I have used Quora to promote before too! You can create videos that answer questions people have posted, or if you have videos already created that answer questions you can reference these! You can also put your channel link or video links in your bio - and make sure you answer the questions appropriately!!

Oh yes of course follow the rules! People annoy me when they link dump and spam or beg or sub4sub. No one is going to like you like that regardless if you are good or not and when it does attract attention it’s not good.

And that’s really interesting. I mean, as of right now I don’t really have any “intelligent” “work” up, so this may not really be an option for me, but in the future there may be a time where I can make use of my knowledge, so I’ll keep this in mind!

So here's a crazy idea. What if we did a reddit viral group, here? So we all get reddit accounts and then when one of us makes a good video and we "vote" on it then and then post it to r/videos on reddit. Then all the rest of the group votes it up as much as we can and hopes that reddit takes it the rest of the way.

This is a good idea..start with Reddit, quora ...and then some other social media eg twitter retweet , facebook, etc....

to make things easier to manage, we can compile the list of YT channel / playlist/ video URL as well as the specific URL of our social media posts and we can pick and choose to (1) like (2)comment (3) share (40 subscribe .. - all into a shared document where all can have access to ...as the list grows bigger. we can have more options to take action on ...

Fact - after i shared my video on Fergie National Anthem in quora, reddit, and linkedin the watch time gone up well...

I've been using Reddit for just over a year now after making the plunge. It's not as bad as you think. It's just the forum for the whole internet. As long as you follow the rules of each subreddit, you'll be fine. Granted, I haven't promoted any of my content on there but if you're just going there to promote stuff you'll need to find subreddits designed for that but like any forum/group/page whatever it is that allows self promotion, it just ends up becoming a dumping ground. Some subreddits allow videos/self promotion if it's warranted/on topic. I personally just prefer browsing it & I'm content with that. Can't hurt to try it.

i've never heard of newtubers until now, might check it out though. i signed up with reddit a while ago, i submitted two posts and ever since then it just won't let me submit anything. it says it is submitting but does nothing, so i never really got a chance to use it properly. I'm hopeless with computers so i just gave up after that, and never used it again.

Try Quora too...just add youtube channel / social media / your youtube niche etc as your area of expertise ...answer some questions from people from time to time ...when you get some sort of recognition there .. you can put your URL ..
in my case i added the Fergie national anthem , NBA celebrity 2018 , NBA slam dunk and it gained views because it attracted viewers who are interested in NBA ..

I suggest not to spam any places with your YT channel URLs straightaway ...it will turn people off and the admin will sense that..
