Hi, kingluke361 but, more importantly as the youtube setup has changed over the years and with google buying youtube and with affiliates being apart of the attack on copyrights...Is it still even worth it to partner with a network? Also I heard you make less as a yotuber with a network??? Lastly, I've been growing for a while now and would like to know if you think I should partner with a network yet or wait it out if networking is even a good idea anymore?? :thanksthumbs:

I believe joining a network still has benefits and has some negatives, you may earn more money with a network or the same, it depends om the networks add sales team. But that isnt always bad because a network that u may earn a little less with may help you grow alot. Networks may help you grow and give you more features, if you dont join a network your pretty much own. I think you should join a network tbh

If the network offers things you feel with be worth X amount per month then go for it, if you dont feel you need what they offer then there wouldnt be any point in such a partnership.

Networking as in connecting with other YouTubers and the YouTube community is still very worth your time :)

From past experience with older channels, in short, nope it's not wroth it. At my peak on my old channel I had 1.3k subsribers averaging out about 400 views per video, but that was not enough to get me any perks, instead the network I was with (IGN) ignored my requests, took a big share out my profit, in short it was awful and the only way opt out the contract was deleting my YouTube channel, which I did. Now 1 year later I have decided to create a YouTube channel again! This could of all been avoided if I did not partner with a network :(!

It depends on what network personally maybe just give it a chance there are a few with no lock in so maybe try one of those.

Networking with Youtubers is always going to be good for your channel if the person you are recording with has great content and you have great chemistry commentating with them. Just make sure to watch a video of theres before hand and ask yourself... "Do I see myself having a good time with so and so?" If yes ask them to collab.

There are very few networks who have ad sales teams. Most just use Adsense.
Brand deals are most often only offered to the most popular channels.
Most networks have music that you can use but YouTube's library is good for most channels.

Thank you all for the support! I've heard that Fullscreen is the best network to go with if you are looking for high payout which I desperately need to keep this channel going in the right direction so. I applied to them. Hopefully it will go good! Also I think they offer a little bit of protection if your video gets flagged! Plus the useable music would be nice and everything too!! :running::thanksthumbs:

I don't know who told you that but most channels on Fullscreen don't get ads served from Fullscreen. They allow regular Adsense ads to run. So whatever you are earning now is what you will be earning with Fullscreen except they will be taking their 30-40%. In other words, you will be earning much less than you are earning now and you will be locked into a two year contract judging by the size of your channel.

looking for high payout
Well, I wouldn't say a high payout since their default is 70% (correct me if I'm wrong) and there are lots of other networks that have a higher split like Curse (90%), Creative Nation (90%), ZoominTV (80%), or Forela (80%, depends). I don't mean to put down Fullscreen, they have some of (if the best) growth tools around but if you're going in for a high payout then you've done it wrong.
