There's no completely right answer depending on the kind of videos you make. People who do comedy gaming can jump from game to game with no issues, but there does have to be some kind of consistency with some element of your channel to maintain subscribers/ sub views because they are subbing expecting a similar element in future videos to the one that made them subscribe. That consistency could also be your personality or something else, I mean just make sure you make the consistent element clear for your subscribers so they know they can expect more of the consistent thing they like if they subscribe.
My channel features a variety of contents from the same category but I did notice that when I post two videos from the same game, the views go up. I didn't think that the variety of games from my channel is probably a factor on why my channel is growing slowly. Oh well, we all make mistakes. I'll probably stick to one game for now
