Is Machinima that bad? Can I loose partnership?

Well I've signed the contract! I thought I'd go for it, Machinima are a great network and nothing is going happen to make me want to leave.

What appears on that dashboard? does something appear on your youtube?

Yeah it's a request to join Machinima's CMS. You'll get an email to the email address linked to your channel as well. Should be titled: "Invitation: machinima would like you join its Network on YouTube" in your email

Oh okay so is that all that happens after I've submitted the contract? Heather said to reply to our e-mail thread telling her that I've filled in the contract so she can "hand me over to the Onboarding team" do you know what that means exactly?

i love machinima and they've given me a good chance while other networks said no but i will say getting partner with them last november was a vary vary slow process and i almost thought some guy ran off with my signature and social number lol

lets see took them a month to respond to my email then took about a week to sign all the stuff. kicker is it almost took 2 months for the youtube network invite :(

i stilll love em though and honestly this is the company i wanted to join when i started yt. the whole machinima paycut thing was overblown as it mostly was at big guys making the company go bankrupt. i also like their CS as they responded like within half a day on on issues.

The only reason those YouTubers were losing money was because Machinima handed out some bad contracts...
You don`t give a channel from a country that gets a 1$ average CPM a 2.50$ fixed CPM because you`re then going to lose 1.50$ per 1000 views... but Machinima did just that ;p

Just realised it's a 3 year contract, so that means I can't leave the network until those 3 years are over? Right?

Yes. Exact terms will say under what conditions you might leave before that, so I hope you read it carefully...

nothing is going happen to make me want to leave.

Well that is rather optimistic.

Not to say that something WILL happen, but at least consider the possibility that something MIGHT happen...

Also interesting to see Machinima is accepting 5k views per month channels.

They accept alot less than that... I saw a guy with 1k subs and 1.5kviews [obvious botting] with them
They probably just thought he was the next big thing... They do keep their eye out for "channels with potential" after all! :poop:

Well I guess I'm at the next step now, my mum just received and signed her copy of the contract. So I guess now I'm just waiting on the network invite thing that will come to me via e-mail :)
