Is live streaming fun?

So yea, I have been recording some videos lately ( I only started as a youtuber about a week ago haha).
But I've been wondering about live streaming on twitch for example.

Is this fun?
And what do people expect from a live streamer? (like in streaming time, interface and such)
Does it contribute to increasing Subscribers , do I get to know people?

I'm just all new to this thing, and just too excited, I just wanna know everything !

Twitch can be quite fun when there are quite a few people watching and commenting.
People normally would expect a facecam imo.
It can contribute to subs

Yes and yes. People see you on twitch, see your youtube link on your twitch, and go check it out. You can also export your streams to youtube.
It's hard to get people viewing your stream without being hosted or shared by your friends. As long as my friends or myself are not streaming, I'd be more than happy to host you to help you get a leg up.
Hosting other people when you watch their streams helps.
To host them: /host theirusername
To unhost them: /unhost

I find it's a great way to interact with what fans you have and also a great way to get more. I don't do it that often because of my garbage internet, but it is extremely fun to do when I get the chance to!

With regular viewers it would definitely be a lot of fun!

People expect to be entertained and also for you to be interactive with them if there are commenting.

It definitely can as the more exposure you get whilst streaming the more people will want to check out your YouTube too

This one really depends on how well you interact with your viewers, also others streamers might drop by too so yeah you can definitely get to know people!
