Is keeping a schedule good?

I don't really like to keep a schedule, because my internet sucks and it's possible that I won't be able to upload videos on certain days. It's also kind of stressful if you fill your schedule with things that will most likely take longer to create, and it really just takes the fun out of YouTube. Hence why I just upload when I'm able to xD
 
It is important to maintain a schedule that you can stick to. However, uploading a video of sub-par quality could do more harm than good. In all likelihood, people have plenty of other content to watch and if you didn't do your upload, subscribers might not even notice. If you upload crap, they might unsubscribe.
 
You should definitely keep a schedule. It's good motivation to make sure you get your videos uploaded on time for your audience.

Take my main channel for instance. I have every Tuesday filled with uploads until late July. I could take off two months and still be fine. Spend a day, write a bunch of videos, spend another day shooting them all. Spend the next day editing and uploading. Schedule your videos and keep this going and you will never have to stress again.

I'm scheduled till the end of May, but I'm always constantly working on new stuff to stay ahead since I work full time.

That's great! Especially considering you're working full time.
We do this plus freelance film work full time. So we have more time to devote to it =)
 
Schedules are always better, there's a bunch of youtubers I watch who upload on a certain day of the week and I tend to not pay attention to them till that day. So if you upload on Saturdays and people get used to that and see there's no video one saturday they might not check again till the following Saturday and miss out on the upload you did in-between.
 
If you announce a schedule, make sure that you are able to keep up to this. It is beneficial, but only if you do keep up to it.

If you feel as though you may not be able to, then it's best not to.
