Is it "Wrong" to reply to haters?

I've seen alot of people say that Ignoring haters is the best way to get rid of them, but I think of them like bugs, letting them crawl on you doesn't make them go away, you need to get an exterminator. All I really mean by that is I don't think Ignoring haters is such a great Idea, because it will Just breed more haters.
Obviously, me being a 13 year old kid is going to bring lots of hate my channel, which I can handle, I just don't want my legit viewers seeing haters spam the comments, so I decided to implement the banned words list, which really helps! Although there was a guy who had re-uploaded my video, and it obviously didn't have banned words, enough blabbering, I'll show the conversation below. Also really sorry for any swearing from the other person, I copied the conversation raw from YouTube.

KloudTech | Weekly Tech Videos : Why would I be mad? It's just sad that someone would go through the time to download my video, re-upload and use the entire same description, so no I'm not mad that my video was re-uploaded because it has 3 dislikes and everybody knows it's stolen.

Hundreds of Thousands of people beg to differ that Austin Evans is a "faggot" he makes Informational Tech Videos. If you don't like it, you can easily leave and not watch his videos.

It would be faster to just ban haters from your channel. It takes 2 seconds to ban them and a few minutes for them to make a new channel to keep hating on you.
 
I antagonise them more, It's probably a bad way to go about it but the way I see it is like this

Personally though I can have insults thrown at me all day and not care too much, so unless you actually have thick skin, I really wouldn't advise doing this.
 
Haters are probably just jealous ahaha and they make me laugh!!! Everyone will have haters ahah no matter what you do! Reading haters comments is quite funny! Some of the stuff they say is just stupid aha
 
Two things. I have a witty comeback that's not too profane, or just don't reply. There's no point in spending the time replying back and forth like that lol I learned that myself
 
You can ignore them or reply to them this all depends on your size. Keep in mind if you have a bigger viewer base with comments everywhere, you don't want your supporters to see you commenting on haters comments and not spending time on theirs. It's normally best to ignore haters but if you want to annoy them a little and can, go ahead just be prepared for a war if 1 breaks out lol
 
well i wouldnt reply in this way with too much things to say, i would start with
"hey, that video is mine, can you please take it off your channel as i haven't given you permission to upload it"
if they reply with no or something bad and don't take it off then i would report them.

In all honesty, when it comes to re-uploaders, I wouldn't give them a 2nd chance, it's pretty common sense re-uploading is unethical regardless of whether it's againsts YouTube's ToS or not. Fortunately, it is. So I wouldn't even ask them to remove the video, if they did it to me, they're just going to try to do it to someone else anyways, so may as well kill the leech before it breeds or sucks on someone else's blood.
