Is it worth partnering with a network?

I'm not really a big YouTuber and from what I've heard, you want to become more popular before partnering with a network otherwise they don't do anything for you. So when is the right time to become partnered with another network?

For me, when I joined a certain network, I was a little bit satisfied with, but I decided to leave the network because of reasons I cannot explain here.

See what they have to offer. I just separated from Fullscreen because my main reason for joining was for free access to Audiomicro. The music added quality to my videos so I thought it was worth the cut. When I started getting 3rd party strikes every day for music I got from Audiomicro, it was no longer worth it to me.

Usually, not worth joining a network when you're still small. Everyone has different opinions though.

They'll gobble you up if you're small and can't stand on your own two feet.

When you've got your ship-legs, then it's a good time to think about joining a crew (yar!).

i joined freedom after seeing that they can make my channel grow and gain me more subscribers. been with them since tuesday ( 4 days ) and i have not seen anything worth talking about. only good thing about it is they claim you get less chance of a strike for copyright using certain music, i dont even use there music. im going to cancel my partnership and go it alone. my views went down and i lost 2 subs after 2 days with them.

I just joined curse and I like it. I won't make much this month but the thing is I get something, also I enjoy having their library of royalty free music and the community forum. To me it was really worth it and was kind of a small validation of my channel.

you have 321 subs :) i dont have that many. i guess i jumped before i could walk. i always upload a video a day without fail, except yesterday and today. for some strange reason it keeps saying processing 0% on all my videos i upload :(

I joined my first network with 18 (I think, analytics are somehow wonky for me around that time) subs. Sure, I gave up on 40% of my potential income, but it helped me somewhat mature, get a bit more known, meet some people and get access to some interesting music/sfx/vfx :) So it isnt always a bad thing, especially when difference in your earnings are same as selling 1 trading card on steam ;)

well i joined freedom and a week later cancelled it. i decided i want to go it alone. why would i give a network 40% of my earnings for doing nothing for me.
