Is it worth doing the videos?

Hi everyone,

So i've got a new channel, (only 1 video), and i have a HD PVR, with a good headset and microphone for recording, and i want to start doing a minecraft adventure series type thing but on xbox instead of pc.

Is it worth even doing a minecraft series as there are so many people out there that do minecraft, and i have like no fan base at all, so it'd take me so long to get built up in the youtube community and is doing this minecraft series a good way of starting off, i would upload everyday, have 10 minute+ videos?

Shall i do it or not?
 
I got tbh your channel looks like one of thoes that could be super big in short time and if you upload good content you could get big No Jokes ^^
 
I put some effort in my videos, and so far it's hard to see a tangible sign of appreciation from the viewers, except for a bunch of cases, and I'm honestly starting to lose interest in this hobby.

As much as i'd like that, it's just going to take time and effort, and hopefully i should be able to get some good content out, and then find some people that would be willing to watch my videos
 
What you put into it, is what will come out. If your videos show that you're having fun and spending time to make your videos look high quality, then your viewers in return will notice and appreciate you for it. Also it's more than just making the videos, you have to kick start the promotion phase. You need to get yourself out in the world for people to see.

Well I'm learning that myself at the moment. Social Media sites like Facebook are what I prefer. Some people say posting on Reddit and other sites like that is good for exposure, but it can generate a lot of negative feedback from people sometimes. I would say at this time you should make connections with people on the forum. Helping others like making banners, profiles, music, video clips, etc. Whatever skill you can help someone out with and in return they can help promote you on their channel. You can also find people that you think would be fun to collaborate with. If the person you collaborate with has viewers that enjoy your personality, they may feel inclined to check out your channel. (This is usually if you're doing commentary over gameplay or something like that, your way of playing may be more entertaining to them)

If you think it is worth doing then go for it im would still consider myself a noob in regards to YouTube i do my own Minecraft series on the Xbox 360 i really enjoy doing it and im in the process of building a hungers games map for the 360

The ultimate decision is down to you if you like Minecraft and want to upload Minecraft then go for it

Its good to see another 360 Minecraft player around here im always up for a collab
 
Well, i'm going to go ahead with making the minecraft videos, i always render in the best 720p quality that i can, and will average around 10 minute gameplays everyday or so until i gain more of a viewership. I am a beginner graphic person so i will try and help people out in anyway i can, and also help with thumbnails of what such. Hopefully some day i'll get a chance to start doing episodes with other people and get known a bit more throughout, thanks anyway :)
