Is it useful to link two videos of the same type?

Two videos, which are the same theme or the same type of content, send URL links to each other in the video description, so is it helpful for SEO?

I think it is useful in my experience. Perhaps it tells the algorithm your content has more potential. Using end screens and cards to link to your same themed video will be beneficial I think in additional or more so to what you already suggested.
