Is it true youtube can take you to hollywood

Shane Dawson needs to make it past youtube too, I love that guy. He made a short film around Halloween last year and it was very funny lol
 
But some people such as tomska love the internet too much and dont want to go beyond it. Well he got a offer to be the doctor in doctor who but rejected it because he would prefer to stay in the internet. WTF
 
actually, alot of the youtubers I watch feel the same way! they'd rather stay on the internet and start the movement to sorta make the internet media as the next big thing. I kinda like the idea of them staying if they really want to, they want to start a revolution!
 
well i dont think someone just comes around and offers you a movie role or record deal because they saw you on youtube and just loved you. these people make a point to go and audition and get it. but youtube is good exposure and a way to get fans.

as for the decision to stay or leave youtube, I guess it just depends on the individual and what your career goals are. If you your goal is to reach past youtube, then I say go for it and I wish you the best of luck
