Is it possible to over tag a video

Hey everyone,

I make videos for my original music and once in a while I'll do cover music as well. I also put in as many tags or keywords that I can think of, but it is possible to put too many keywords?

Short answer: Yes and no.
Long answer: Yes and no. It depends on the tags you use! Basically, no, you can't use too many tags. But you can use too many varied tags inefficiently. Focus on one "main keyword", and focus the rest of the tags around that. Don't write completely different tags.

Well if your tags have nothing to do with the video then that`s grounds for a community guildlines strike.

If you do subtitles (closed captions), the words in the subtitles count towards your keywords for the video too.

Never ever to many tags. Keep tagging until its full thats how your video gets found
