A lot of people will also give it a try because it's so easy to get into making videos, compared to back in the day. Many will quickly quit making videos because although it's easy to actually get a good quality (in terms of video footage) a lot of people will come to the concussion that making videos isn't really their "thing" and things will thin a little bit. I agree that "getting spotted" is much harder, especially in ultra competitive genres. However, there is always room at the top.

Yup, definitely true. I only touched on the technology aspect a bit but that is huge. Lower barrier to entry and all that.
