Is it just me that gets excited when you get an email, and you think it may be because someone interacted with your channel?

Or is this just a new youtuber thing?
 
i dont have email alerts on, but i do have my business email on show on my channel, and i always get super excited when an email comes through incase its from a fan XD
99% of the time its network spam though...
 
I do, I get all my YouTube mail on my phone and everytime I see an e-mail in that mailbox I hope it's a new subscriber! So much fun if you get a lot of e-mails, but I guess I will turn that off once I get subscribers more often! ;)

OMG I AGREE 100% Everytime I get an email from my YouTube email account I get excited to see what's new with my channel. It's usually just spam or YouTube telling me about people's latest videos. But i didn't know other people did it too! :)

've been doing it since the days of MySpace. That almost sounds hipster-ish, lol.
 
I've been doing youtube for years and I still get excited when I get an interaction! Although I get my notifications through the youtube studio app as that's where I prefer to read them and I can also easily see likes and views plus other things!

What's the YouTube studio app?
 
With this last video I put out I get about 50 emails a day for comments. Sometimes I go months without getting a single email.
