Is it just me?

I have noticed that random videos on youtube stutter now, they never did before though, and it's not like they play slow, or buffer slow, they play for a short time, and then stop, then play then stop. even if the video is all the way buffered. changing the quality helps only for a moment, and then it will start up again. but if i change the video speed to .5 then it plays smooth. and before you tell me to update flash, or disable the embedded chrome flash players, or the disable all my extensions, or download a youtube ripper downloader thing, just dont. i have tried all these things (in the ripper case, i just refuse to) and nne of them work.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this only happens on specific videos, and it seems to be happening on more videos, even ones that were working earlier today.

I wonder if it's a server update, or they are changing something on youtube, and it's taking alot out of there system.[DOUBLEPOST=1398216009,1398215836][/DOUBLEPOST]
I haven't noticed it happening to me.
oops, thought you said "have". people are gonna think i'm nuts now. :D

I'm noticing a lot of newer videos these days are using the HTML5 player. I don't know if that's the culprit, but I know that Vimeo's HTML5 player is super bad (their flash isn't any better).
I don't know how it's determined which videos get HTML5 but playback performance is not consistent between the two.

that might explain why the videos seem to be random, but not why it's happening to videos that were playing fine a few days ago.
