Is It Just Me or Is 75% of YouTube Gaming Channels?

I do agree that there are an over abundance of gaming channels (me being one obviously lol) but I think whats rare is to see actual people that do original content that they enjoy instead of just constent like cod,battlefield, and minecraft in hopes to get tons of views and fame. But like KGATV said they will most likely die down after they realize it is more work then just posting a video and getting tons of views lol

It sure as hell seems like YouTube was overtaken by the alien video game players that launched to earth and vowed to never, ever leave. As well as buy every copy of Minecraft on the planet.

Meh... I actually found a few funny vloggers today, so I'm not gonna freak out yet.
 
Do what you love to do, Yes I do lets plays even though they dont rack in ANY subs at all, Yes i do minecraft so that doesn't help at all, but im enjoying what I do. Even though i know i need to transition into more then just lets plays to actually grow.
 
I have no idea if there are more gamine channels but it could easily be true. They are the easiest to record and with parents not wanting their kids to put their faces on YouTube, Gamer videos lets the kids have fun while maintaining some level of security.
 
Yeah, there are a lot of people out there recording now... I was curious yesterday when doing my tags for a video. A Minecraft video (I'm part of the problem. Sorry guys). When I searched for Minecraft videos posted within a single hour, it was something like 5k results. That's crazy.

Think of it this way folks.. While there might be a lot of crap out there, sometimes you stumble across a piece of corn. Or even a peanut.

Always strive to be the peanut.. or the kernel of corn.
 
I hate all Let's Players except one group, but everyone else is generic as f**k. Unfunny, talking about everything other than the game itself, unnecessary yelling, trying too hard to be funny, always hearing LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE even though they're god damn popular enough.

All of these top channels need to perish, seriously. The easiest form to make money is playing a game while talking over it about b******t no one cares for.

The minute someone acts blatantly fake, I shut the video off. Unfortunately, people like Tobuscus and PewDiePie have made it "cool" to act like an idiot during gameplay videos. Screaming, overreacting, and acting fake is not funny. I try to just be myself, be informative, and just have fun.

I wish you didn't hate me though :( hurts my feels.
 
Pretty much yeah. Too many gamers out there on YouTube as i am one of them :) That's why its very hard to get recognition.
