Is anyone else communicate with your viewers?

I do as much interaction as I can :D I like to talk to new people and get to know them. And a good community is a foundation of great things, that's something I learned in games I've played.

Hey guys! I am about 3 weeks on youtube, and have 13 subs! I am trying to talk to my viewers either answering their comments on youtube or twitter interactions! Is anybody here who does that as well? Do you like send them "thank you" letters?

I've moved your thread to the strategy / technique forum. :)

I reply to comments and if the person disagrees with me I'll engage in a discussion about it. I went back and forth with one guy about putting soap on the lawn. Since comments and activity help you, I don't mind going back and forth. But the convo ended when he called me Dead Grass Daddy lol

I do my very best to respond to every comment on my videos (granted I have a small sub number). I do it because I think it's so important to show that you appreciate them taking the time to watch your video out of the millions of others they could have viewed instead. Besides I think it helps to build the type of viewing community that you have on your channel.

I try to thank everyone for watching and reply to questions. Also get lots of keyboard mashing comments, so those I leave alone (apparently little kids run their fingers or mash the keyboard so the comment is gibberish).

Lately we've been getting lots of comments from people concerned how much money we have or that we waste money on toys. So nice of them to worry about our financial situation, I might setup a donate button at the top and point them there if they are so concerned.

I just try to come up with different replies for each one but it does get repetitive when you can't think of what to say individually.

When you answer a comment you don't have to be repetitive because most comments are different.
