I think a name that is easy to remember is the best way to go

A name that's easier to remember but the name itself doesn't always matter. Always look for something that can be branded too. I think sticking with something that has FinchBE in it would be a good idea, as it could become your brand and you just add stuff like stated above: FinchBE Vlogs, FinchBE Productions, FinchBE Gaming or just FincheBE etc... So make FinchBE your brand.

It's definitely important! Think to yourself, is there any YouTuber you watch that you don't remember their name or you can't spell it to search it? I know of a few. But 95 percent of them are something you can remember. My personal channel's name was MikeKhukuriTV. It was extremely difficult. Especially when we would be filming in public and someone would come up and ask what my channel is. I'd try telling them, do you think they ever found me? Not unless they wrote it down. If you have to hand business cards out in order for people to remember then you are doing something wrong.

Catchy names are always better I guess but somethimes it doesn't matter. I'm now thinking of FinchyVlogs or FinchBEvlogs

It is FinchyVlogs now. I think it's easy to remember and it's easy to pronounce

I started as a let's player on youtube and my name is IFinchBE --> Finch was a nickname and BE stands for Belgium so that's how my name got created. I'm now thinking of making a separate vlogging channel and I'm not sure what name I should use. Is it really important to have a name that's easy to remember or doesn't it matter at all? I was thinking of the name IFB-productions but I'm not quite sure about it.

I think it is important but then again, if you screw it up like I screwed mine up, you can always just use the google+ name and get a dot com like I did to change your branding. So screwing up your youtube username doesnt seem to really matter cuz its the google+ name that comes up in YT searches also.
