Is 24fps and 30fps a big difference?

does it even matter if I switch between the two? is it obvious? People say that 24fps looks more cinematic than 30... does it make a big difference? i'm confused.
 
It's not too obvious but 24 is cutting it a bit close, it's because movies often run at about 24 fps.. I think, I forget the exact number. But youtube runs at 30fps, which is why you should aim to have all your videos running with 30 frames per second
 
It matters what you're making.. if it's a vlog or something then 30FPS (good for internet video) but if it's a short film go ahead and use 24FPS :)
 
When you're doing special effects such as slow motion, there will be a difference.

24 FPS is for movies,,, because it adds and effect to the filming.. in games.. try to keep it as high as possible! pixels have to move. i did a test once.. try to film your gameplay with a camera.. and change your settign around from 24 then 30 then 60
you can see that the gameplay is much smoother looing on the 60 FPS.
Just if you shoot live action yourself.. go for 24 fps.. and with full high tempo actions scenes go for 60 - 200 fps
 
yes, yu will ABSOLUTELY notice a difference between 24 and 30 fps :D Imma experienced XD

makes sense...but I don't really see the difference by adding additional 6 more frames... :\ what is the difference between 23.976 and 24 frames per second?
