Investing in a New Camera

I would say a webcam is fine unless you want to do a gaming show that requires very high quality! :) I have the logitech C920 and I love it!
That's the same camera I got. Works way better than the laptop camera, and I got mine on sale at a Best Buy for $30.

Right now, I use a point and shoot. It does the job, but part of me wants to start thinking about new cameras.

The problem is, I know nothing about cameras.

Things I dislike about my camera and would enjoy having in the new one:
-I can't flip the viewfinder - it would be really nice to be able to frame myself while filming
-My camera stops filming at the 10 minute mark, so if I'm filming a long video, I have to notice, and restart recording
-As it is a point and shoot, I cannot adjust the focus etc (not that I understand how any of that works, but still)

I'd like something with good video quality, obviously HD.

What camera would you guys suggest? What do you use?

I'd like to keep it reasonably priced... we're not so fancy over here :)
Since 2010, I've been using a Sony Bloggie MHS-PM5. You can flip it to see yourself while recording and it has like a 20 or 30 minute cut off mark. It'll do 1080p @ 30fps, 720p @ 60fps, 720p @ 30fps, etc. It's actually not too expensive either. It definitely gets the job done and it's the best camera I own. I have a webcam and the camera on my phone, but it doesn't do the job sometimes (or in most cases). One of the things that my webcam/phone camera has that the Bloggie doesn't is good lighting. You can make excellent videos with the Bloggie, but you will need to have proper lighting.
